The female lead to star in SAMedia Production's "Leaving it to Fate" has been found.
Although no one has seen her in person, sources say that her age is probably around 23 - 24 and at best 1.55m tall. However, her weight remains confidential.
Earlier, Director Sam released a media article stating that the perfect person to star in "Leaving it to Fate" has been spotted, and confirmed rumours that she was spotted "somewhere in the CBD". He refused to elaborate.
It is not known if the female lead has signed the contract with SAMedia Productions, but many are confident that even if she hasn't, it is just a matter of time before she does.
However, SAMedia spokesperson Mr Leumas said that "we're still in the process of negotiation" and hinted that the road ahead is still bumpy. He also mentioned that "such things cannot be rushed".
SamHill did not offer placement for this bet. SamHub Pools, which offered 10-1 for her signing, refused to pay out any winnings so far, insisting that the "deal is not sealed until the black and white is signed".
When asked how much longer the signing would take, Mr Leumas didn't appear to be too optimistic. It is rumoured that SAMedia agents are still in the open hunting for talent, in the event that the female lead decides to give it a miss.
To sum it all, the session concluded with a satisfactory note. "We made the correct option to pull our agents out of JC and relocate them in the CBD," said Director SAM. "You can be assured that we will continue to excel in this relentless pursuit for perfection."
