After four months of trials and selections, the shortlisted candidate for SAMedia Productions "Your Lovely Lotus Flower" was found to be unsuitable and will soon be released from her contract.
Director Leumas said that she had not shown signs of progress despite the massive amount of effort that SAMedia Productions had put into nurturing her and it had been a "great disappointment".
The candidate, who wish to remain anonymous, had been the most outstanding among the four candidates that were shortlisted in the pre-selection rounds and was highly rated to win the trials.
It is widely believed that her performance had been under-par as the other three paled in distinction when compared to her. However, the Director would accept nothing less than her full commitment in the production and had no choice but to let her go.
Her termination caught many by surprise as no prior announcement had been made. Bookmakers SamHub Pools Ltd had offered 2-15 for her termination and it looks like the punters have lost again.
Sources report that she had a bad experience not too long ago with her previous employer, HMY Associates Ltd and that could have contributed to her poor performance in the selection trials.
When asked, the candidate indicated that she did not wish to talk on her experience with HMY Associates Ltd. However, she said she had enjoyed the time spent in SAMedia Productions and thanked the Director for his time and effort.
She also refused to disclose her future plans, saying that she prefers to remain out of the limelight for the time being until "God knows when". She will be released from her contract before she turns 21 this July.
SAMedia Productions would like to wish her all the best in her future endeavours and will still welcome her with open arms if she decides to change her mind.
